IT'S TIME FOR A CHECK UP AT ANGELES CREST!
The theme for the week is..."JESUS CHRIST M.D.!!" Need to work on
caring for others? We'll send you to ICU! Need some healing from
past hurts? We'll send you to Recovery! If we need to, we'll send
you to X-Ray to make sure your heart for others is in the right place.
Maybe to the Gift Shop for helping decide your spiritual gifts. Or maybe
even to the Maternity Ward for all those who need to be Born Again! This
week of camp will be your "spiritual checkup" and will allow Jesus to lead you
to spiritual health"!!

Keynote Medical Speaker - "Amberly Neese"
Amberly
Neese is a woman passionate about joy in Christ. As a busy author and speaker,
she has encouraged audiences with her humor and candor. She is a popular
speaker with children and a favorite at Angeles Crest Christian Camp. Amberly
earned her Master’s degree from Biola University in May 1999. She now serves as
a professor in the Masters of Education department at Grand Canyon University as
well as a part-time Spanish teacher. Amberly married Scott Neese in 1992. He
serves as the worship and small groups pastor at Christ’s Church of the Valley
in Bakersfield. They have a daughter, Judah Catherine born in 2001 and a son,
Josiah Caleb born in 2003. They enjoy playing with their kids and watching the
Food Network.
Critical Care
Worship Leader - "Andy Garcia"
Andy
has been a Youth Pastor for many years, and currently serves as the Worship
Pastor at Agoura Bible Fellowship in Agoura Hills, CA. He is passionate about
his walk with God and has an outgoing, energetic personality making him a
favorite at Angeles Crest. As a veteran youth pastor, Andy knows how to
communicate to youth and children and loves to challenge them to follow God with
their whole heart. Andy is a gifted worship leader and will create a fun and
meaningful worship experience for the campers. Andy lives in Agoura Hills with
his wife Terri and their four daughters.
Activities:
Angeles Crest has a lot of different fun activities waiting for
you to try out! Some of these activities include...



... the flying squirrel, canoeing,
basketball, sand volleyball, digglers (a cross between a bmx bike & a scooter), archery, bb guns, a climbing wall, the “trampoline
thing”, hiking trails, a game room, Frizbee golf, “Isaiah’s Perch”, the Zip Line, Zaccheus’
tree house, and “The Hut” our local hang out – a.k.a. our “snack bar.”
Camp Times:
Camp will begin with check in between 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Camp
will end at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
What to Bring:
Bible, pen, notebook, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, flashlight, towel
and washcloth, warm clothes, winter jacket, spending money for camp store &
picture, etc.
