Our Men's Conference is uniquely designed to provide quality time for men to evaluate the path they are on and to renew and refresh their spirit.  This retreat will give you the opportunity to get away for a few days and help equip you to not only grow closer to the Lord, but also to be stretched in ways that will help you find God's will for your life as a Christian, husband, father and friend.

Place: Angeles Crest Christian Camp

Dates:  April 25-27, 2008

Cost:  Inaugural Kick Off Price of only $99 per person!!

Time:  The retreat will begin with check-in on Friday evening between
            6:30 and 8:00 p.m.  Dinner will not be served on Friday night, but
            a snack will be provided and the camp snack bar will be open. 
            The retreat will conclude on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Retreat Host: Dave Crouse

Dave is the Executive Director for Angeles Crest Christian Camp ministries and will serve as our host for the retreat.  Dave has been involved with Angeles Crest for over 25 years as a church counselor, camp speaker, Program Director, and now as Executive Director.  Dave is also the pastor at Christian Church of the Hills in Agoura Hills, California and lives in Agoura Hills with his wife Dani, and has four children.



Main Speaker: ron gallaher
 

Ron is the Adult Ministries Pastor at Knott Avenue Christian Church in Anaheim, California.  Ron leads the men's ministry at KACC with hundreds of men in attendance.  Ron is a tremendous leader and we look forward to having him challenge us to grow and stretch spiritually in all areas of our lives, making us more effective men of God.  Ron lives in Anaheim with his wife Tamara, and has two grown daughters Nicole and Natalie.






Worship Leader: knott avenue Men's Praise band
Our special guests will be the Knott Avenue Men's Praise Band!  This group of guys love to worship the Lord and love to lead other men in worshipping too!  You'll have a great time as they lead us in singing out to God with real loud voices (even if you're really loud and really off key)!!

Recreation Activities
On Saturday afternoon we will have a number of activities for you to choose from including:  sports tournaments (ping pong, 3 on 3 basketball, 6 v 6 sand volleyball and the longest golf drive), paintball (additional fee required), a climbing wall, "Isaiah's Perch", and the "Zip Line.  There are also plenty of hiking trails in the area, or you can just relax under a tree and enjoy God's creation! 

What to Bring
Our weather at camp is usually a reflection of the Southern California weather. However, the evenings can be cool. Bring recreation and hiking clothes for the day and jackets for the evening. You will need a sleeping bag, pillow, wash cloth, toiletries, towel, flashlight, Bible, etc.

"Camperships" Available
Our greatest desire is to minister to people through our camp program.  If you have a special financial need, we have Camperships (1/3 off the cost of camp) available.  Request for all Camperships must be in writing and must be submitted to the camp with the registration form 10 days before the camp.  Rules for acceptance and participation at an ACCC program are the same for everyone regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.
