FATHER & SON RETREAT 2008

Our Father/Son Retreat is uniquely designed to provide quality time alone for fathers and sons. This retreat will give you the opportunity to get away for a few days and help equip you to not only grow closer to the Lord, but also grow closer to each other as fathers and sons.

Theme
MAN (and boys) VS. WILD!!!
Men (and Boys), it's a Wild World out there, and there are many elements trying to attack our spiritual lives every day.  This weekend will help provide you with the necessary tools to take on the danger of life and learn to survive as a team!  Our main focus for our Wild Men (and Boys) is...

Two are better than one...If one falls down his friend can help him up...Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.

Main Speaker: Chuck Booher
Chuck is one of our most popular speakers and Angeles Crest!  Chuck has been in full time ministry since 1979.   For the past 24 years he was in youth ministry.  Even though Chuck has moved out of youth ministry, he has a passion to see the church stay relevant and reach this next generation.  Chuck became the Senior Pastor of Christ’s Church of the Valley in 2003.  During that time CCV grew to nearly 4,000 and did so on less than 7 acres of land.   Today Chuck is the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, which is his and his wife's home church.  Chuck is married to Pam and they have two grown sons; Rich who is close to receiving his Doctorate at Syracuse University and Tim who is married to Jill and on staff at Crossroads in the Children’s Department.  Both men and boys will love Chuck's humor and his ability to bring a biblical message that will challenge us to live for God in this wild world!!
