Our Men's Retreat is uniquely designed to provide quality time for men to evaluate the path they are on and to renew and refresh their spirit.  This retreat will give you the opportunity to get away for a few days and help equip you to not only grow closer to the Lord, but also to be stretched in ways that will help you find God's will for your life as a Christian, husband, father and friend.

Place:  Angeles Crest Christian Camp

Date:  October 22-24, 2010

Cost:  $120 per mountain man ("camperships" are available - see below)

Time:  The retreat will begin with check-in on Friday evening between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m.  Dinner will not be served on Friday night, but a snack will be provided and the camp snack bar will be open.  The retreat will conclude on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Retreat Host: Dave Crouse

Dave is the Executive Director for Angeles Crest Christian Camp ministries and will serve as our host for the retreat.  Dave has been involved with Angeles Crest for over 25 years as a church counselor, camp speaker, Program Director, and now as Executive Director.  Dave has a passion to see men live up to their potential and follow God with all of their heart.  He will be pulling out all the stops to make this a powerful weekend that will change lives through God's spirit.  Dave lives in Agoura Hills with his wife Dani, and has four children and two very cute grandchildren!!



Main Speaker: Cal Jernigan

Cal Jernigan is the Senior Pastor at Central Christian Church in Mesa, Arizona which has 3 campuses averaging 7,500 in attendance.  Cal is a gifted leader known for his ability to teach biblical principles in a way that is easy to understand. His passion is to help people understand that there is a God who cares deeply about them and wants to connect with each of them personally.  Cal has served on Central's staff since 1987 moving from Lead Student Pastor to Associate Senior Pastor and then to his present position as Senior Pastor.  Cal and his wife Lisa have two grown children, Jeremy and Amy, and two grandchildren.  Our mountain men will be challenged and inspired by Cal's life and ministry!! 

Worship Leader:  Craig Wilson

Craig Wilson will be back again as our worship leader in 2010!!  He'll be bringing his bandmates from Venture Christian Church in Murrietta where he is the worship leader for Sunday morning worship.  He is a veteran leader of camps at Angeles Crest having participated both as a main speaker and as a worship leader.  He is a gifted communicator as well as a gifted musician who has a great ability to lead groups in worshipping the Lord.  Craig's experience as well as his love for the Lord makes him one of our favorites at Angeles Crest!  Craig and his band will lead our mountain men in a dynamic time of praise and worship!! 

Recreation Activities
On Saturday afternoon we will have a number of activities for you to choose from including: sports tournaments (ping pong, 3 on 3 basketball, 6 v 6 sand volleyball and the longest golf drive), paintball (additional fee required), the climbing wall, "Isaiah's Perch", and the "Zip Line.  There are also plenty of hiking trails in the area, or you can just relax under a tree and enjoy God's creation!

Paintball Information
Our paintball course will be open on Saturday for all those who would like to participate.  To participate in the paintball program there is a $10.00 field fee which includes a paintball gun, CO2 cartridge, and a protective mask.  Paintballs are not included (field paint only allowed).  The field paint prices are as follows...
     $5.............100 rounds
     $15...........500 rounds
     $25...........1000 rounds
     $40...........2000 rounds

The average number of rounds to play for a couple of hours is 500.  The average cost to play would be around $25 ($10 equipment rental fee and $15 for paint).

Special note:  If you are planning on playing paintball you must fill out a "WAIVER FORM".  There are two separate waiver forms; one for those over 18 years of age and one for those under 18 years of age.  Download the waiver forms below...

"Camperships" Available
Our greatest desire is to minister to people through our camp program.  If you have a special financial need, we have camperships (1/3 off the cost of camp) available.  Requests for all camperships must be in writing and must be submitted to the camp with the registration form 10 days before the camp.  Rules for acceptance and participation at an ACCC program are the same for everyone regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.
