Welcome to our annual Fall Autumn Harvest Senior Luncheon!  We're gathering in the month of September to celebrate our wonderful faith in Jesus Christ!  We'll enjoy some wonderful food, fellowship and an inspirational program!  We hope you will join us for this inspirational event! 

Date:  Thursday, September 16, 2010

Place:  Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park 
               (see below for directions)

Time:  Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. and the program begins promptly at 11:00 a.m.  The program will end at approximately 2:15 p.m.

Cost:  A free will offering will be taken to cover the expenses of the program.  Suggested donation is $20.00.


Guest Speaker:  DAVE SMITH

Dave Smith is Lead Pastor of Downey First Christian Church in Downey.  He and his wife Karen grew up at Knott Avenue Christian Church and served as missionaries to the Philippines for two years.  Dave served several years on the ACCC Board of Directors and has taken hundreds of kids to enjoy the fresh mountain air and learn about Jesus.  He received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from Hope International University.  Dave and Karen have two adult children, Amy (married to Jon Carman) and Trevor (engaged to Lauren McKinney), who also graduated from H.I.U.

Worship Leader:  DAVID REGIER 

David Regier will be the Worship Leader for our Autumn Harvest Luncheon!  David is a worship leader and songwriter living in Murrieta, CA.  He is a gifted singer and composer who brings a strong spiritual presence through his music.  His song "All Glory" was recorded by the Women of Faith Worship Team and is being sung in churches around the world.  David is married to Darlene and they have three beautiful children...Joseph, Sophia and Eliana.  You'll enjoy David's joyful spirit and wonderful musical gifts.

Special Guest Artist:  CHRISTIAN ARTS & THEATRE AMBASSADORS

For the afternoon portion of our program we will be welcoming the students from the Christian Arts & Theatre school in Corona (CAT).  This program is an after-school theatre and visual arts educational program for students ages 6-18.  CAT is committed to building up kids through excellence in the arts as well as modeling for them the hightes moral through traditional Biblical values.  Our special guests at our Knott's luncheon will be the "CAT Ambassadors" who are the organization's travelling performing group representing the best of the CAT program.
