There is nothing more important than for a Father to spend time with his son!  Our Father and Son retreat gives the opportunity for dads to take their sons to camp and create lasting memories.  This is one of our most popular camps of the year as we provide a fun, spirit-filled adventure for dads and kids.  We want to invite you to come up and experience a weekend of great food, great fun and a great father-son experience.

Keith Poletiek will be our leader for this year's Father & Son Retreat!!  Keith is our Marketing Director for Angeles Crest Christian Camp and has been our host for the last seven Father & Son retreats.  Keith himself is a popular speaker at camps and conference centers and knows what it takes to make a Father & Son retreat run great.  Keith will be working on some new ideas to entertain both the dads and boys and will lead you into a weekend that will bring your relationship closer between father and son and also with God!

Worship Leader:  "The Kimosabes"

Our worship for the weekend will be led by "The Kimosabes"!  This father and son band played at last year's father & son event and did an outstanding job!  These dads and their sons hail from Newbury Park and are ready to lead our group of father and sons into a exciting time of worship.  Not only are they great musicians and singers, but they have a genuine love for the Lord that permeates their music and their worship.  They'll remind us at each of our main sessions that we all need "faithful friends" to help us on our journey with the Lord.    

RECREATION ACTIVITIES
In addition to our pool with two slides and a diving board, there are plenty of hiking trails in the area, "The Hut" (a Baja Beach store & snack shack), a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, ping pong tables, foosball tables, crafts, Frizbee golf, a climbing wall, the "trampoline thing", archery, BB guns, "Isaiah's Perch", zip line, and digglers (mountain scooters!).  Not to mention we also have an awesome paintball course!!

The Downhill Ultimate Derby Extravaganza!!
Otherwise known as the “DUDE” Pine Car Derby Race, our annual pine car derby competition is back again by popular demand!! You will be provided a basic pine wood derby kit for you to build together as father and son. There will be races and competitions during the weekend with prizes given for a variety of categories.  Good luck all you race car guys!!

The Bellyflop Contest!!
That's right...we'll be looking for the most courageous dads who are willing to take the plunge for the honor of winning the coveted belly flop trophy and prize!  Dads...bring your trunks and bring your courage...time to show your son how awesome your 6 pack (or 12 pack) is!!

WHAT TO BRING
Our weather at camp is usually a reflection of the Southern California weather.  However, the evenings can be cool.  Bring recreation and hiking clothes for the day and jackets for the evening.  You will need a sleeping bag, pillow, wash cloth, toiletries, towel, flashlight, Bible, etc.

"CAMPERSHIPS" AVAILABLE
Our greatest desire is to minister to people through our camp program.  If you have a special financial need, we have Camperships (1/3 off the cost of camp) available.  Request for all Camperships must be in writing and must be submitted to the camp with the registation form 10 days before the camp.  Rules for acceptance and participation at an ACCC program are the same for everyone regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.

To register for the Father & Son Retreat, please fill out the registration form below and send it to our administrative office along with a $30.00 non-refundable deposit per person.  You can either mail a check (made payable to "Angeles Crest Christian Camp") or click here to fill out our online credit card form.
