The mission statement of any organization defines what it is the organization wishes to accomplish.  The mission statement answers the question, “Why does the organization exist?”   This statement defines what the organization is supposed to accomplish in terms of its ministry in the community and the world.

By the mid 1940’s, the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ were growing at a rapid pace and Christian Camping was an important part of their ministry.  However, each year it became increasingly difficult to find facilities to rent for our churches.  A number of locations were used in those days.

Angeles Crest Christian Camp holds to traditional historic Christian doctrine as the foundation for all it's camps and programs.  Throughout the history of the Church there have been certain fundamental doctrines or beliefs that have defined what Christianity is and that are "essentials of the faith".  The following we believe are the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith...
