 Winter camp is a great time for students to get away, enjoy winter fun, meet new friends and grow in their relationship with God.  This is also the perfect weekend for your students to bond with each other and create lasting memories. The “Tube Run” is always popular along with our Zip-line, Climbing wall, and other mountain activities. Plus, our camp store “The Hut” is always ready with warm and tasty hot chocolate or Frappuccino. Add in some amazing worship time and thought provoking messages from our top-level speakers and you have a weekend your group will not want to miss!

fter serving 10 years in youth ministry, Rachel Oblon is currently serving as the missional life pastor at Parkcrest Christian Church in Long Beach, California overseeing the church's engagement in the city and around the world. She is passionate about being a voice for the voiceless and helping people connect their gifts and passions with the needs of the Kingdom. She loves traveling and laughing.

Worship Leader:  Straight Forward

Straight Forward is a Christian worship band from Diamond Bar including: Alex Long, William Shaw, Kevin Stowers and Paul Kirz.  Their desire is to serve the community by leading worship wherever there is a need.  Each member has a great desire to worship God not only with music but with their lives as well.  The name “Straight Forward” is representative of not only their lives, but also their worship.  "Our lives are straight forward, and our worship is straight forward.  We make our worship a confession as well as a testimony of God's love for His believers."  Your students will love how Straight Forward leads them into a quality time of worship toward our Heavenly Father!!

 

Activities:

Angeles Crest Christian Camp is located at an elevation of 6,000 feet! This means that snowfall is common especially during the months of February and March. So be ready to play some snow games and have fun on our sled run!!

 

 

 

 

Depending on the weather, Angeles Crest also provides other great recreational events, including basketball, volleyball, a climbing wall, the “trampoline thing”, hiking trails, a game room, “Isaiah’s Perch”, the Zip Line, Zaccheus’ tree house, and “The Hut” our local hang out – a.k.a. our “snack bar.”

Camp Times:
Camp will begin with check in between 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Friday. Camp will end at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

What to Bring:
Bible, pen, notebook, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, flashlight, towel and washcloth, warm clothes, winter jacket, spending money for camp store & picture, etc.
