Fires Shut Down Angeles Crest Christian Camp Without a Single Flame
Perched high above the fires, the air at camp was crisp and clean.
Sheltered from the destruction below…
Angeles Crest Christian Camp was untouched by the flames.
Yet, due to calling all the fire-fighting resources off the mountain, the Forest Service has closed the entire Angeles National Forest for all of January, causing hundreds of kids to miss a great mountaintop experience at Angeles Crest.
In addition to not being able to have kids hear about Jesus, we’ve lost more than $80,000 in operating income needed to pay staff, pay bills, and keep the lights on. Here’s our dilemma.
We know so many of our LA neighbors are suffering great loss. So, even telling you about our struggles feels insignificant in some ways.
However, so many folks have been calling, sending emails, and posting on social media, asking, “How can we help?”
Here’s a simple, practical, and meaningful way you can help.
Donate.
Big or small, any financial gift will help us recover from the losses in January.
Because of you, Angeles Crest Christian Camp will remain open and students will experience the love of Jesus at camp this year.
We thank you so much for caring and for being willing to help when the camp is in need.
