VOLUNTEER WEEKEND

Make an Eternal Impact with Your Family at Angeles Crest Christian Camp!

This past year has been a tough one for us all due to the effects of Coronavirus. Many freedoms and even the ability to minister as a family became limited. We certainly felt this at Angeles Crest Christian Camp having to sadly turn away guest groups looking for a much needed escape and mountaintop experience that only camp can bring. We also were kept from allowing schools to use our facility for their annual Outdoor Education programs and we were hit hardest by having to cancel many of our own Program Camps; Summer Camp, Winter Camp, Father/Son, Mother/Daughter and our “Volunteer Weekend” Memorial Weekend Service Camp – a great way for families to serve as they grow in the faith.

Well, we are excited to report, at this point, 2021 should be very different than 2020 because “Camp is Back On!” We are announcing Summer Camp dates for Youth and Preteens and beginning to bring back some of our favorite Program Camps including our “Volunteer Weekend,” on Memorial Weekend, May 28-30, 2021! This is great opportunity for your family to get away, refresh yourselves and serve at the same time as you prepare the camp to have an eternal impact on the many kids who come to hear and learn about Jesus,

There are many ways to help prepare the camp for people of all skill levels. There will certainly be something for every family member to do, and you will leave knowing you had an impact on future campers. We have painting, cleaning, landscaping and organizing projects for skills of all levels and skilled work is needed to complete projects involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing and more. You can view a list of ways you can help and check the desired areas you would like to serve on the Volunteer Application Form.

Don’t miss this fantastic family opportunity to serve the Lord together in God’s beautiful creation here at Angeles Crest Christian Camp where mountaintop experiences with an eternal impact can once again happen!
