“They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.”
– Luke 6:48

Building to Answer the Call
In December 2024, we shared an ambitious plan to renovate the North Cabins by adding attached bathrooms to each of the 9 cabins over the next 2-3 years. It was the number one request that all the leaders wrote on their evaluations. In response, we received approximately $340,000, which included an estate gift from the sale of First Christian Church Long Beach. Thank you to everyone who donated! With this incredible blessing, we decided to expand our original project of only doing one bathroom to a new goal of four bathrooms. In October, we completed the brand new bathrooms in cabins 3, 4, 11, and 12!

We are beyond thrilled to have completed Phase 1 of this multi-year project in less than a year. This upgrade will be transformational in the camper experience for decades to come and will help us reach even more groups.
While we don’t have a concrete timeline for Phase 2, we are looking to the near future to complete more bathrooms in the remaining North Cabins. Stay tuned for future announcements regarding this project, and please pray with us for God’s wisdom in how to best serve him through our camp.

Well-Built Projects Throughout 2025
Angeles Crest Christian Camp has grown in so many ways in 2025! None of it would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our amazing donors! This map shows just some of the highlighted projects that were completed in the last calendar year. It amazes me to see how these improvements are creating even more great mountain top experiences for nearly 6,000 campers last year alone.

In addition to the brand new bathrooms in the North Cabin area (see story above), for Big Give Day, we set a goal of $20,000 for a new canopy tent for the Dining Hall Deck and A/C for the Pines and Ponderosa meeting spaces. You blew us away by surpassing that goal by nearly $10,000. With the additional donations, we also added a new cooling system for the kitchen, where temperatures soar over 100 degrees regularly. All these projects were ready in time for the summer season.
During Volunteer Work Day in May, more than 15 projects were completed by 40+ volunteers, which included tree trimming, cleaning flower beds, painting tables, and adding brand new siding to the Ponderosa Building, just to name a few. Thank you to each and every person who participated in making camp a more beautiful and functional experience for our campers.

That’s not all, though. Throughout the year, critical fixes and upgrades were completed as well. Brand new double doors were installed in the Dining Hall, where the old doors were damaged and didn’t close properly. Another notable project was the brand new hexagon swing set overlooking the views on the west side of the camp. This has become a new meeting spot for small groups, quiet times, and enjoying the sunset.
Thank you to each and every donor for making these projects become a reality! You are helping fulfill our mission to see lives changed through Jesus Christ by creating great mountain-top experiences with an eternal impact. We truly couldn’t do it without you. Thank you so much!
