Angeles Crest Update: News & Stories from Our Community

May 2026

Thanks A Latte for Big Give Day Success!!!

Thank you to all of our incredible donors for making the “Something’s Brewing” Campaign a huge success! We had a venti sized goal of $65,000 to expand our Campgrounds Coffee Shop into a stand alone building right at the heart of camp. Our amazing supporters brewed up more than we could have imagined… $77,493!!! Thank you!!!

We are already getting the customized shipping container ordered with hopes it will arrive at camp sometime this summer. Once installed, it will take several more weeks of construction to get the brand new coffee shop up and running. The current timeframe is looking at a fall opening date, and we can’t wait for everyone to see it once completed.

Thank you once again to every single person that helped make this dream become a reality. We know this will be a favorite spot at camp once it is complete and it truly couldn’t have happened without your support.

Thanks a latte!!!

Man Camp Recap

Man Camp was an awesome weekend full of opportunity to connect with the 175 men that attended and grow in their relationship with God. Chuck Booher, Pastor at Crossroads Christian Church in Corona preached on the Promises of God, which had a deep impact on the men.

God grew me this weekend to speak up in areas that I need to work on, and develop the skills as a leader through Jesus Christ. He also helped me know that we are all in the same boat together…Here is my key takeaway from the weekend…what God has done to me in three days at Man Camp takes some people years to figure out. So thank you!! – Bryce R., Westminster Presbyterian, Burbank

After last year’s late snowstorm during Man Camp we never thought that would happen again. But, never say never. On Saturday, the men experienced some snow flurries for the second year in a row. Who knows what next year will look like. Don’t miss out.

Work Day Volunteers Showed Up

We are so grateful to everyone who came up the mountain to make camp sparkling and welcoming for our summer campers who will start arriving in just a few weeks. So many important projects were completed with over 60 volunteers who came with their families, friends and churches. Many also joined us on Friday to spend a nice evening at camp before getting to work.

Volunteers helped install fences, clear trails, clean out storage units, chop wood, paint/ stain, chop down trees and brush and even installed new windows in the dining hall. It truly takes a village to get camp ready for summer and it wouldn’t have been possible without the sacrifice of all the amazing volunteers! Thank you so much!

Harvest Homecoming is coming back in 2026!

Save the Date for Saturday, September 12th for the return of Harvest Homecoming! More details coming soon. Check out photos and the recap video from last year.

Prayer Request

Pray for our new SUMMER STAFF as they begin their training to serve all of the campers this summer. Pray for the MAINTENANCE TEAM as they prepare the camp facilities. Pray that every camper may HEAR GOD’S WORD in a powerful way and respond to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

“Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” – 1 Chronicles 16:10-11
