Angeles Crest Update: News & Stories from Our Community
April 2025

Angeles Crest Christian Camp has received multiple reports from key sources (youth pastors, counselors, and church leadership) that our critical meeting areas have been plagued with insufferable heat during the hot summer months.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to save the thousands of campers from the sweltering summer heat in the Ponderosa and Pines meeting rooms and to eliminate the nuisance of insects and the burning rays from the sun on the Dining Hall Deck and ultimately create great mountain top experiences with eternal impact.
As always, should you or any of your team be caught, our Executive Director will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This letter will self-destruct in ten seconds (not really, but that would be cool).
There are two plans the Chill-possible Mission Force (CMF) team has in place to help overcome the problem of high temperatures in our meeting rooms and the dining hall deck.
PLAN 1 of Mission: Chill-Possible is to ADD AIR CONDITIONING UNITS to both the Ponderosa and Pines meeting rooms.
The total cost will be $12,000.

PLAN 2 of this critical mission is to BUILD A CUSTOM CANOPY TENT to put out on the dining hall deck. This tent will provide much-needed shade during the hot summer days and will also include mesh side walls to let air flow through but keep the bugs out.
The total cost will be $8,000.

Join the CMF today and help Angeles Crest raise $20,000 for brand new air conditioners in the Ponderosa and Pines Meeting Rooms and for a new shade covering on the Dining Hall Deck. You can make Chill Possible for thousands of campers this Big Give Day.
Thank you for your support of Angeles Crest Christian Camp and helping make this Mission Possible.

Over and Out,

Dave Crouse
